Through this page, the employee can record the details of self-appraisal. The details consist of self-ratings for the objectives mapped already to the employee. Self-appraisal also consists of specifying the assignments undertaken by the employee during the appraisal period, and the self-ratings for these assignments. The self -ratings for each objective and each assignment are in the form of
Weightage: this is a number to indicate the weightage assigned to objective and each assignment, with respect to the other objectives/assignments listed

The objectives listed in the “Perform Evaluation” multiline can come from the following multiple sources:
Objectives created in the appraisal template, through the “Appraisal Template Mapping” activity of Appraisal Setup.
Objectives created for a specific employee, in the “Record Appraisal Objectives” activity of Appraisal Administration
Objectives that are already mapped to the employee’s appraiser, in both the following activities: (i) The “Set Appraisal Objectives’ activity under the Appraisal Self Service component, and (ii) The “Record Appraisal Objectives” under the Appraisal Administration component
Objectives in a template mapped to a group of employees, in which the auto-objective mapping facility has been marked. This is done in the “Appraisal Template Mapping” activity. When the auto-objective mapping facility has been marked, the system automatically maps the objectives in this template to the employee.
