Set Hire Request Status: Through this activity, you can set the status to a hire request.
You can choose from the following:
If you set the status as “Open”, it indicates that the particular hire request is in processing.
If you set the status as “Closed”, it indicates that the processing for the particular hire request has been terminated due to the completion of the processing of the hire request or otherwise.
Selecting the Hire Request to Set Status: You can use the search facility in the page to specify the search criteria for the hire request details and select the required hire request. Note that the system also supports the search by wild cards.
You can specify the search parameters for all or any of the following details:
The description of the employment unit for which the hire request has been raised.
The descriptions of the position, department , grade set and grade of the job for which the hire request has been made.
The values for the “Requested Date From” and “Requested Date To” details to indicate the probable period in which the hire request has been raised. For example, if you specify a value for the “Requested Date From” detail, the system searches among hire requests which have been raised after the particular date.
The values for the “Request No. From” and “Request No. To” details to indicate the probable range in which to search for the hire request. For example, if you specify a value for the “Request No. From” detail, the system searches among the hire requests whose request number is more than the specified value.
The employee who submitted the request for hire.
The authorization status of the hire request.
The processing status of the hire request.
