Through this activity, a supervisor, his/her representative or a HR user, having the necessary data level security permissions can submit a request for hiring qualified and competent employees to positions, jobs or departments for which vacancies exist in the organization.
To submit a request for hire, you are to specify the following:
Employment unit in which the vacancy exists, the date of hire request and the date on or before which the vacancies are to be filled.
Position and the department for which the request is being created.
Number of vacant posts.
Job details such as employee type, grade set and grade.
Overtime aspect of the job, working hours for a specific period, and working days per week.
Reason for vacancy, prerequisites for the job.
Employee who needs to be substituted for a specific period.
Paygrid Validation: The head count and compensation for a position-grade set-grade combination for a department are predetermined for the entire organization. The number of new employees recruited and the compensation offered to them must be within the budget set in the paygrid definition for a specified period and any deviation is not allowed by the system.
Posting Resumes: You can attach a suitable resume to the request for hire that you have created previously. The details of the resume can be recorded in the "Post Resume" page. From this page, you can forward a resume (applicant) to the interview process or immediately hire the applicant by overriding the interview process. You can also look at the available resumes and take action on the suitable resumes. You can also modify the details of previously recorded resumes.
