Record Your Grievance - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can record your grievances.
Grievances are submitted whenever you face any difficulty in the organization. Grievances can be categorized into different types, such as Union, Employee, Administration etc. Types of grievance can be created in Quick codes.
Selecting the grievance: You can select the grievance based on search criteria. This is carried out in the “Select Grievance” page.
Recording the grievance: You can record the grievance only through direct entry. You must first select the type of grievance, and enter the grievance in the “Record Grievance” page. The grievance is in the form of free text.
Forwarding the grievance: You can now forward this grievance to one or more employees who can handle the grievance. This requires you to enter the employee code of each of these employees. You can now submit the information.
Automatic e-mail notification: After you submit the grievance information, the system will send an e-mail to each of the employees to whom the grievance has been forwarded.
Update of response: The response of each of these employees will be entered through the “Record Your Response” activity. This response will also be updated in the “Record Your Grievance” page, along with the date of response.
Current status of grievance: The status of the grievance, at any point of time, can be any one of the following:
“Submitted”. This indicates that the grievance has been submitted.
“Responded”. This indicates that the grievance has been responded to
“Resolved”. This indicates that the grievance has been resolved.
Deleting the grievance: The grievance can be deleted, if the employee finds an alternative solution. The grievance can be deleted only if none of the employees to whom the grievance has been forwarded has responded to the grievance.
