Grievance Self Service – An Overview
The Grievance Self Service component allows you to record and respond to a grievance. Apart from this, you can also view the grievance summary.
Recording your grievance: Whenever an employee encounters any difficulty that needs to be resolved he can record the grievance. The grievance is also forwarded to the employees who can handle the grievance. When the grievance is submitted, the system sends e-mails to
The employee who logged the grievance
The list of employees to whom the grievance is forwarded
Responding to grievance: The employees to whom the grievance was forwarded can record the responses for the grievance. You can select the grievance for which the response must be recorded, and then record the response.
When the response is submitted, it will also be updated in the “Record Your Grievance” page, along with the date of response. The system sends e-mail to the employee who logged the grievance.
Viewing grievance summary: You can view the grievance summary at any time. The summary lists all the employees who have responded to the grievance, the response, and the date of response.
The summary displays exhaustive details about the grievance, such as follows:
The employee code and assignment details of the employee who recorded the grievance
The response date and response of each employee to whom the grievance was forwarded
The current status of the grievance
The grievance details; additional details may be available for the grievance
