Record Legal Action Details – A summary of the activity

Through this activity, the grievance administrator can record the details of the legal action taken on a grievance. For example, if there is a theft, legal action must be taken by the authorities. 

The administrator receives grievance through e-mail: When the “Record Grievance“ activity is completed, the grievance administrator receives the message notification on the grievance through e-mail. Similarly, when the “Record Response Details” activity is completed, the administrator receives an e-mail with the response details of the employee who responded to the grievance.  The grievance administrator records any legal action taken to resolve the problem.

Selecting the grievance to record legal action: In this activity, you are to first select the grievance for which the details of legal action must be recorded.

Recording the legal action details: After selecting the grievance, you can enter the details of the legal action taken for it. This consists of entering the following:

• A unique file ID to identify the legal action

• The date on which the legal action was filed

• The details of the legal action taken. This is entered as free text

You are to submit this information

Viewing the grievance summary: You can view the summary of the selected grievance. The summary displays exhaustive details about the grievance, such as follows:

• The employee code and assignment details of the employee who recorded the grievance

• The response, response date of each employee to whom the grievance was forwarded

• The details of the legal suit, if a suit was filed

• The details of the resolution

• The current status of the grievance

• The grievance details

Deleting the legal action details: You can delete the legal action details, if required.
