How to use the web page

Using online help

The “View Grievance Summary” page appears.

The system displays the following

Grievance Administration Unit

The administration unit of the grievance

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the employee belongs

Employee

The name and code of the employee on whose behalf the administrator recorded the grievance, in the “Record Grievance” activity.

Assignment No.

The assignment number of the employee.

Grievance No.

The unique number of the grievance.

Grievance Type

The type of the grievance selected in the previous page

For example the type of Grievance could be Union/Employee.

Submission Date

The date of submission of the grievance

Grievance Status

The status of the grievance could be any one of the following:

  • ”Open”: The administrator can keep the grievance in open status until the grievance is resolved.

  • ”Closed”. The administrator can close the grievance either when the grievance is resolved or at a later point of time. A closed grievance cannot be reopened, but it can be viewed.

Current Status

The current status of the grievance could be any one of the following:

  • “Submitted”: This indicates that the grievance has been submitted.

  • "Responded”: This indicates that the grievance has been responded

  • “Resolved”. This indicates that the grievance has been resolved.

Grievance

The main details of the grievance of the employee.

Grievance Details

Additional details of the grievance.

View Attachment

The document attached while recording the Grievance can be viewed.

Response details

The system displays the following details of the responses to the grievance            

Employee Code

The code of each employee who responded to the grievance

Employee Name

The name of this employee.

Response

The response to the grievance, as free text

Responded On

The date on which the response was recorded by this employee.

Document

The document attached while recording the Response can be viewed.

The following fields are displayed below the multiline

Suit Details

The details of legal proceedings in connection with the grievance.

Resolution Details

The details of the resolution.

View Attachment

The document attached while recording the Resolution can be viewed.
