The "Direct Info” tab page appears by default for a prepayment invoice, while launching the "Manage Invoice” page.
Click the "Direct Info" tab in the "Manage Invoice" page.
Note: The Direct Info tab is active only for prepayment and direct pre-payment invoice. You can only add rows or delete rows in the “Direct Info” tab and cannot modify the details in the existing rows.
Enter the following fields in the multiline of the “Direct Info” tab:
Ref Doc Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of reference document for which you want to create an invoice. The value could be one of the following:
The system defaults this field with “Customer Order”. |
Ref Doc # |
Enter the identification number of the reference document that is based on the “Ref Doc Type” selected. Data entry in this field is mandatory while creating a PPL against a PSO |
The system displays the following columns in the multiline of the Direct Info tab
Note that the system displays the below columns only when the Ref Doc Type selected is Part Sale Order with Prepayment Invoice as the Invoice type.

The invoice amount in currency for which the invoice was raised. Data entry in this field is mandatory while creating a PPL against a PSO |

Enter the amount to be billed for materials, against the work unit |

Enter the amount to be billed for labour, against the work unit |
Other Resources |
Enter the amount to be billed other resources, billed against the work unit |
Fixed Price |
Enter the fixed amount to be charged, if any, for a work unit |
External Repair |
Enter the amount to be billed for external repair, against the work unit |
External Services |
Enter the amount to be billed for external services, against the work unit |
Addl. Charges |
Enter the amount to be billed for additional charges, against the work unit |
Taxes |
Enter the tax amount to be charged in the invoice |
Charges |
Enter the amount of other charges chargeable in the invoice |
Discounts |
Enter the amount of discount provided to the customer |
Remarks |
Enter any observation regarding the payment to be received for the invoice (Alphanumeric, 255) |
Note: For a Direct Prepayment Invoice multiple rows can be added to the same invoice.
The following fields are displayed in the “Default Tax Keys” group box:

Use the drop-down to select the tax charges, if any, to be levied on the documentq |
Tax Exclusive |
Check the "Tax Exclusive" box, if the tax amount should be calculated based on the total invoice amount |
Click the ‘Get Part Details’ pushbutton to retrieve the part details.
Note that the system displays the ‘Get Part Details” pushbutton only when the Invoice Type is selected as 'Prepayment Invoice' and Ref. Doc. Type is selected as 'Part Sale Order' in the Header section,
Click the “Compute” pushbutton to calculate the “Invoice Amount”, which is displayed in the “Direct Info” tab.
The system does not recompute TCD if the “Taxable Amount” in the “TCD Details” tab page has been modified and the option “Allow Modification of Taxable Amount” option in the “Set Function Defaults” activity of the current business component is set as “Yes”.
Click the “Save Dir. Info.” pushbutton to save the entered details in the “Direct Info” tab.
Click the “View Part Sale Order” link to view the information pertaining to the selected PSO in the Manage Part Sale Order activity.
Note that the system displays the View Part Sale Order link only when Invoice Type is selected as 'Prepayment Invoice' and Ref. Doc. Type is selected as 'Part Sale Order' in the header section..
Note: The “Save Dir Info” should be clicked before clicking on the “Save” or “Save and Authorize” pushbutton to save the details entered in the tab level.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the "CO Based Release Info." tab to view/record charges levied and invoice amount for desired reference documents. (For Service invoice type only)
Select the "Monthly Release Info." tab to view all the monthly usage based and/or monthly fixed charges based releases from ‘Process Monthly Invoice’ release activity that has been included in the Customer Invoice.
Select the “T/C/D Details” tab to enter any additional tax, charge and discount details for the invoice apart from the existing ones.(For Prepayment, Direct Prepayment and Service invoice types)
Select the “Invoice Summary” tab to view/record invoice details. (For Prepayment, Direct Prepayment and Service invoice types)
Select the “Adjustment Log” tab to view adjustment log data for the invoice. (For Service invoice type only)Select the “View Customer Order” link to see the details of the customer order.
Note that the system does not display the View Customer Order link if Invoice Type is selected as 'Prepayment Invoice' and 'Ref. Doc. Type' combo UI in the header is selected as 'Part Sale Order'
