Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This tab allows managing compliance of the tasks for an aircraft / component. You can perform various compliance functions like recording compliance, correcting / deleting compliance and viewing compliance. These functions are controlled using security access rights. You can perform the following Compliance functions:

Note: Compliance cannot be performed for Empty Position, Draft Configuration and Piece Parts.

Compliance Function

Record

Select this radio button to retrieve program tasks for recording compliance. The system retrieves and displays the compliance details ‘Initialize Maintenance Program Details and Update Compliance’ (IMPUC) multiline on selecting the ‘Record’ radio button.

Correction & Deletion

Select this radio button to retrieve the last complied tasks for correction and deletion. The system retrieves and displays the details from the ‘Track Maintenance Compliance History’ multiline on selecting this radio button.

View

Select this radio button to retrieve ‘All Compliance’ history of the tasks. The system retrieves and displays the details from the ‘Track Compliance History’ multiline on selecting this radio button.

Note: The radio buttons are defaulted based on the following parameter defined in the “Define Process Entities” activity of the “Common Master” business component:

    1. If ‘Additional restriction on IMPUC usage required?’ is set as ‘No’, ‘Record’ radio button is defaulted.

    2. If ‘Additional restriction on IMPUC usage required?’ is set as ‘Yes’, the system defaults the radio buttons based on the security access rights for the user to “Initialize Maintenance Program and Update Compliance” and “Track Maintenance Compliance History” activities. The system displays different search sections and multiline on selecting different radio buttons.

Record Mode

On clicking the “Record” pushbutton, the system displays the following:

Exception-based Search

On clicking ‘Get’ button, the system displays the following buttons displaying the count of all tasks / overdue tasks in the program of searched entity or in program of the selected node in the tree. On clicking the buttons, the system retrieves the respective tasks in the multiline.

Click this button to retrieve all the tasks that are available in the program of the searched aircraft / component or in the program of the selected component in the configuration tree.

Click this button to retrieve the overdue due tasks that are overdue with respect to the current date in the program of the searched aircraft / component or in the program of the selected component in the configuration tree.

Primary Search

Search (Editable)

You can perform search by entering the following search criteria in this field: ‘Task #’, ‘Task Description’, ‘Eng. Doc #’, ‘Eng. Doc Type’, ‘MCR #’ or ‘ATA #’.

Include Related Tasks

Check this box to search for the related tasks for the Task # or Task Description mentioned in the editable field.

Search By (Drop-down list)

Use the drop-down list box and select the following parameters to search for the program tasks: ‘Prog. Item Type’, ‘Rem Value <=’ or ‘Job Type’.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Use the drop-down list to select values and search the program task based on the selection of the parameters in ‘Search By’ drop-down, as follows.

Rem. Values

Enter the value in the editable field. In the drop-down list box provided alongside, the system lists “Days”, “Multiple” and all 'Consumption Parameters' in 'Active' status defined in the 'Aircraft' business component.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Advanced Search

Include Child

Include Child

Check this box positioned above the multiline to display all the tasks available for compliance in the Maintenance programs of all the child attached to the searched entity or for the selected component in the configuration along with the parent program tasks.

‘Initialize Maintenance Program & Update Compliance’ (IMPUC) multiline

The system retrieves and displays the details from the “Initialize Maintenance Program and Update Compliance” multiline:

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Help facility available.

Serial #

The serial number of the part.

Help facility available.

Task #

The code identifying the task.

Help facility available.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Current Value

The current value of the parameter.

Rem. Value

The remainder of the schedule value at which the task is planned for execution.

Scheduled Date

The schedule date of task.

Actual Compliance Date

The actual date of compliance of the task.

Actual Compliance Time

The actual time of compliance of the task.

Execution Doc. #

The number identifying the execution document.

Execution Comments

Additional comments pertaining to the execution.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Follow-up Instruction

The follow-up instruction of the task.

MPD Item #

The number identifying the Maintenance Planning Document.

Short Term Esc. Ref #

The number that identifies the short term escalation request.

A/c Model #

The model number of the aircraft.

Configuration Class

The configuration class associated with the aircraft model.

Position Based Schedule?

Indicates whether the retrieved Task Schedule is a Position Based Schedule. The system displays “Yes” or “No”.

Allocated Exec. Document

The Package # to which the task is allocated.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Task Description

The short name/description of the task.

Task Rev #

The amendment number of the Task.

Message Center

The error / success messages for the validation are displayed here.

Correction & Deletion / View Mode

On clicking the “Correction & Deletion / View” pushbutton, the system displays the following:

Search

You can perform search by entering the following search criteria in this field: ‘Task #’, ‘Task Description’, ‘Eng. Doc #’, ‘Eng. Doc Type’, ‘MCR #’ and ‘ATA #’.

Compliance Date: From / To

The compliance date range for which you wish to retrieve the task details.

Advanced Search

Track Maintenance Compliance History multiline

The system displays the following compliance details in the multiline from the “Track Maintenance History” screen:

Task #

The task number for which the compliance details are retrieved.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Task Rev #

The revision number of the task.

ATA #

The ATA number of the task.

Job Type

The Job Type of the task which could be “Aircraft”, “Position Tracked On-Wing”, “Serial Tracked On-Wing” or “Off-Wing”.

Parameter

The triggering parameter could be “Calendar Based” or “Usage Based”.

Due Date

The due date by which the task is expected to be performed if the Parameter is “Calendar Based”.

Due Value

If the Parameter is “Usage Based”, the system displays the due value for completing the scheduled task.

Compliance Date & Time

The date and time of compliance of the task.

Complied Value

The value of the parameter as on ‘Complied Date & Time’.

Compliance Mode

The compliance mode of the parameter.

Execution Doc. #

The number identifying the execution document.

Exec. Doc. Type

The type of the execution document.

Compliance Status

The compliance status of the task.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which compliance details are displayed.

Serial #

The serial number of the part.

New Compliance Date & Time

The new compliance date and time entered for the task to correct the compliance for the retrieved task.

New Complied Value

The value of the parameter at the time of compliance.

New Execution Doc #

The execution document that initiated the compliance.

Correction Remarks

Reasons that necessitated correction or update of compliance information.

The system displays the following:

Last Corrected by

The employee ID of the user who last updated the compliance information/record.

Last Corrected Date

The date and time when the compliance information was last updated.

Eng. Doc #

The engineering document applicable.

Eng. Doc Rev #

The revision number of the engineering document.

Eng. Doc Type

The document type of the Engineering Document.

Subject

The subject of the engineering document.

Reason for Non-Execution

The reason for non-execution of the task.

Source Doc Type

The source document type of the engineering document.

MCR #

The number identifying the MCR.

MCR Rev #

The revision number of the MCR.

Related Doc. Details

The details of the documents related to the engineering document.

Execution Comments

Any comments related to the execution of the task.

Exec. Station

The execution station in which the task has been executed and complied.

Exec. Work Center #

The work center in which the task(s) have been complied.

Superseding Task #

The Superseding or Terminating task number stored against the task and sequence number combination.

Parent Item #

The parent item could be the block task number or the event number for the task.

Short Term Esc. Ref #

The latest short term escalation #, for the task.

Follow-up Action Req. ?

Indicates whether the follow-up action is required or not for the task.

Follow-up Comments

The follow-up comments applicable for the task.

Follow-up Action By

The name of the person who responsible for the follow-up action.

Follow-up Action Date & Time

The date and time at which the follow-up action was done for the task.

Aircraft Model #

The Aircraft Model number applicable for the Aircraft Reg # stored against the task.

Component #

The component number is displayed for the task of Applicability Component.

Maintenance Program #

The maintenance program number applicable for the task.

Program Rev. #

The program revision number applicable for the task.

Part Description

The description / short name of the part.

Message Center

The error / success messages for the validation are displayed here.

Note: The “Delete Compliance” pushbutton is visible only if the “Correction & Deletion” radio button is selected. Both the pushbuttons are hidden, if the “View” radio button is selected.
