You can perform program related functions.
Select the “Program” tab in the “Manage Aircraft / Component Records” page.
Associate Aircraft to maintenance program
Enter the following:

Use the drop-down list box and select the search category as "Prog. Item Type", "Schedule Status", "Job Type", and "Rem. Values”. Based on the Search Category selected, the system displays values in the adjacent drop-down list box indicating the Search Options, as shown below:

The schedule status of the task. The drop-down list box displays the following: “Fresh”, "Active", "Inactive" and, "Terminated". |
Job Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the Job Type of the task. You can select from “Aircraft”, “Off-Wing”, “Position Tracked On-wing” and “Serial Tracked On-Wing”. |
MCR # |
The maintenance change request reference to the task. |
Eng. Doc Type |
Use the drop-down list box and select the Eng. Doc. Type which are in 'Active' status from the “Configure Document Attributes” activity of the “Common Master” business component. |
Eng. Doc # |
The engineering document reference to the task. |
Maintenance Process |
Use the drop-down list box and select the Maintenance Process as “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition’ or “Condition Monitoring”. |
Rem. Value |
The remaining value of the parameter. You can specify a value in the editable field and select “Days” or “Multiple” from the drop-down list box provided alongside. |
Include Related Task |
Check this box to display related task. |

The template task from which information / attributes are to be copied while creating a new task. Help facility available. |
Parameter |
Use the drop-down list to select the parameter for the part. The drop-down list displays "Calendar and all the parameters of type “Consumption” defined in the Aircraft component, which are in Active status. |
Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the time unit for the interval for execution of the task on the part. The system displays the following: "Days", "Months", Month End" and "Years". This field is mandatory, if the Parameter is specified as “Calendar”. |
Threshold Value |
The parameter value at which the first execution of the task is due. |
Interval |
The time interval for the next schedule of the task. |
Last Performed Date |
The date / time at which the task was most recently executed. |
Last Performed Value |
The value of the task when most recently performed. |
Next Scheduled Date |
The date / time at which the task is planned to be executed. |
Next Scheduled Value |
The planned value of the task when performed again on the part. |
The system displays the following:
Next Due Calc. On |
The computation basis of Next Schedule Date (NSD) / Next Schedule Value (NSV). |
Calc. Ref. Date / Value |
The reference date / value based on which NSD / NSV is computed. |
Last Scheduled Date / Value |
The actual schedule date / value of task on last compliance. |
Enter the following:
Change Type |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether NSD / NSV can be modified on modification of Threshold or Interval. The system lists the following values:
By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Positive Tolerance |
The starting range of parameter value by which the task must be started. A positive value must be entered here. |
Negative Tolerance |
The ending range of the parameter value by which the task must be started. A positive value must be entered here. |
Alert Date |
The date on which an alert message will be displayed about an impending due date for task execution. The Alert Dare is calculated using the following formula: Alert Date = Next Schedule Date – Alert Value |
Alert Value |
The parameter value at which an alert message is displayed for an impending execution due for the task. A positive value less than or equal to the ‘Negative Tolerance’, must be entered here. |
Terminating Date |
The date on which the task must be terminated. |
Terminating Value |
The parameter value, reaching which the work on the task must be terminated |
Prog. Item Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the program item type of the task. The system lists the values “"Block", "Base", "Non-Block", "To Be Decided", "Perpetual", "As Required" and “Event Driven”. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Job Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the Job Type of the task. You can select from “Aircraft” and “On-Wing”. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Maintenance Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance type of the task. The system lists the values "Inspection", "Repair", "Overhaul", "Retire" and "Others". By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Initiated / Reset by |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate the manner in which the Next Schedule Date/Value (NSD/NSV) for the task in the maintenance program is computed. The values listed are “Self-Compliance” and “Related Task Compliance”. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Long Term? |
Use the drop-down list box and select one of the below-mentioned values to indicate that the Task requires Long Term forecast, in order to facilitate the Planner to create a Line Package for these tasks, in advance. Long Term forecasted intervals are displayed in the “Plan Aircraft Maintenance” activity of the “Aircraft Maintenance Planning” business component. The system lists the values “Yes”, “No” and “Not Applicable”. By default, the system displays “Not Applicable”. |

Rem. Value |
The remainder of the schedule value at which the task is planned for execution. |
Enter the following:
Update Basis |
Use the drop-down list box and select the basis for updating tasks of the maintenance program. The system lists the values “Actual Completion”, “Time Window” and “Schedule” for Aircraft tasks. The system does not list any value for component task. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Schedule Type |
Use the drop-down list and select the Schedule Type of the task as “One-Time” or “Recurring”. By default, the system displays “Recurring”. |
Schedule Status |
The schedule status of the task. The drop-down list box displays the following: “Fresh”, "Active", "Inactive" and, "Terminated". By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Reset on Attachment? |
Use the drop-down list box and select one of the following values to re-compute the Next Schedule Date / Next Schedule Value accordingly: · Not Required – Select this option to compute NSD / NSV based on Last Performed Date / Value. · First Attachment – Select this option to compute NSD / NSV on first attachment of the component after the off-wing compliance of the task. · Every Attachment – Select this option to re-compute NSD / NSV on every attachment of the component to the Aircraft. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |

Relationship Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the relationship between the primary task and the related task. The valid options are “Conditional”, "Block Schedule", "Concurrent Exec. - Group", "Concurrent Exec. - Specific", "Concurrent Exec. - Conditional", "Predecessor Constrained", "Conflict", "Initiate Schedule", "Initiate Records Follow-up", "Terminate Schedule" and "Supersede”. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Primary Task # |
The code identifying the primary task. |
Enter the following:
Package Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the package type of the work unit. The system lists all the “active” package types for which the field “Process Parameter Defined?” is set as “Yes” in the “Common Masters” business component. The system leaves this field blank by default. |

The level code of the component. The level code entered must be valid for the Primary Aircraft and Configuration Class Combination and must be in ‘Active’ status as defined in the “Configuration” business component. Help facility available. |

The configuration class associated with the aircraft model. |
Position Based Schedule? |
Indicates whether the retrieved Task Schedule is a Position Based Schedule. The system displays “Yes” or “No”. |

The Package # to which the task is allocated. |

Program Group |
The program group of the maintenance program planned for the part. |
Default Exe. Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to select the default execution priority of the task. The system loads the drop-down list box with all the quick codes of quick code type "Priority", as defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Execution Type |
Use the drop-down list box and select the Execution Type of the task as “Minor” or “Major”. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Sch Exec Rule |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the schedule execution of the task. The system provides the following options:

Deferment Policy |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of deferment policy for deferring or postponing the task. The system provides the following options:
By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Expense Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Expense Type of the task as “Revenue” or “Capital”. By default, the system displays “Revenue”. |
Work Center # |
The work center in which the task is executed. Help facility available. |
EST. Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of measurement for the estimated duration and turn-around time that is being specified, which could be one of the following: “Days”, “Month End”, “Months” and “Years”. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Estimate Duration |
The time estimated for completing the task, standard procedure or work package |
Turn Around Time |
The total time for which the component will be out of service, while it gets serviced |
Execution Facility |
Use the drop-down list to specify where the task has to be performed. The system lists the options “In-house” and “Outsource”. By default, the system displays “In-house”. |
Shelf Life Expiry |
Use the drop-down list box to select whether the given maintenance requirement is applicable to the shelf life expiry of the component or not. The system provides the options: "Yes" and "No". By default, the system displays “No”. |

Button combo
Select the task in the multiline and then from the button combo and;
Click the “Validate” button to process the task.
Click the “Get Base Task” button to retrieve base tasks.
Click the “Get Schedule” button to retrieve the entire schedule for the task.
Click the “Compute Next Schedule” button to compute NSD/NSV for the entire schedule of the task.
Click the “Delete Schedule” button to delete the entire schedule for the task in the program.
Click the “Delete NSD/NSV” button to delete NSD/NSV for the entire schedule for the task.
Note: You can delete NSD/NSV for the task:
If ‘Reset on Attachment’ is ‘Every Attachment’ and, if the task has not yet been complied for the component/aircraft
Or
If ‘Initiate / Reset by’ is 'Related Task Compliance’ and if ‘Relationship Type’ of the task is ‘Initiate Schedule’ cyclically with other tasks in the maintenance program.
To proceed
Check the following boxes below the multiline:
Create Task |
Check the box to create the tasks that you have specified in the multiline. Note: The system allows for the creation of the tasks only if the login user is mapped to the system activity “Create Task”. |
Update Effectivity |
Check the box to set the task effective for the part # specified in the record in the multiline. Note: The system allows for the update of the task only if the login user is mapped to the system activity “Update Effectivity”. |
Click the “Update” pushbutton to create new task or update effectivity based on the based on selection of check boxes above.
Click the “Save Draft” pushbutton to save the program details as draft.
Click the “Record / Update” pushbutton to record / update aircraft / component program.
Click the “Confirm” pushbutton to confirm the Aircraft Maintenance Program.
The status of the program is changed from “Fresh” to “Confirm”.
Click the “Return” pushbutton to modify the Aircraft Maintenance Program that is “Confirm” status to “Fresh” status.
Click the “Cancel” pushbutton to cancel the Fresh / Draft revision of the Aircraft / Component Maintenance Program.
Note: The system copies the previous active revision of the program.
Click the “Activate” pushbutton to activate the Aircraft Maintenance Program.
Click the “Inactivate” pushbutton to inactivate the Aircraft Maintenance Program.
Select the “Configuration" tab to manage aircraft / component configuration.
Select the “Parameter” tab to view parameter values of component/aircraft.
Select the "Compliance" tab to manage task compliance.
