Recording task details

This tab allows you to capture the details of the task, such as execution status of the task, hold status, estimation status, disposition details, repair basis, etc.

Enter the following in the “Task Details” group box:

Task # / Rep. Seq #

The code identifying the task executed on the part. Mandatory. (Alphanumeric, ). The task number entered must be in ‘Active’ status as defined in the “Maintenance Task” business component. The code identifying the repair sequence is entered in the box provided alongside.

The task number and the repair sequence number entered must be valid as available in the SWO # displayed in the header.

The task # - Rep. Seq # must be a valid combination that exists in the shop work order.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the task details.

The system displays the following in the “Task Details” group box:

O. Seq #	The sequence number of the task, defined in the repair scheme.
Seq. Control #	The sequence in which the task must be executed in the shop work order.
Task Rev. #	The latest revision number of the task.
Parent Task #	The code identifying the parent task.
Task Desc.	The textual description of the task.
Root Task #	The code identifying the root task.

Part #	The code identifying the part against which the task is executed.
Serial #	The serial number of the part.
Mfr. Part #	The number issued to the part, by the manufacturer of the part.
Mfr. #	The code identifying the manufacturer of the part.
Serial #	The serial number issued by the manufacturer of the part.
Disposition	Indicates the type of work performed on the part.
Separated?	Indicates whether the tasks can be moved from the parent work order to the child work order or not. The system displays “Yes” or “No”.
Exec. Status	Indicates the execution status of the task. The possible statuses could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Planned”, “In-Progress”, “Complete”, “Pre-closed”, “Closed” and “Ext. Routed”.
Hold Status	The hold status of the task. The system displays the value “On Hold” if the task is on hold.
Estimation Status	Indicates the estimation status of the task, which could be “Not Required”, “Pending Estimates”, “Pending Confirmation”, “Confirm Estimates”, “Released Estimates” or “Re-estimates Required”.
WBS Code	The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) code indicating the attributes that identify whether the task is executed for planning purpose or execution purpose.
Repair Basis	The basis on which the repair scheme is acquired or modified for the execution of the task. The system displays one of the following values: “OEM” - Indicates that the repair scheme is given by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). “MRO specific” - Indicates that the repair scheme is modified based on MRO need. “Operator specific” –Indicates that the repair scheme is modified based on operator need.
Workscoping Remarks	Any additional comments related to workscoping of the tasks.
Eng. Instructions	Any comments provided to instruct the mechanic.

To proceed carry out the following:

Select the “Discrepancy Details” tab to record the discrepancy details of the task.
Select the “Execution Information” tab to record the execution details of the task.
Select the “Reference Information” tab to view the reference details of the task.
Select the “Commercial / Financial Information” tab to record the commercial / financial details of the task.
