Viewing engineering change details
In this tab, you can view the engineering change details such as change in the part #, serial # or both part # and serial #, during execution of the work order. The details are retrieved from the “Engineering Document” business component and displayed here.
Select the “Engineering Change Details” tab in the “Edit Work Order Information” page.
The system displays the following fields above the multiline:
New Part # |
The code identifying the new main core. |
New Serial # |
The serial number of the new main core. |
Sub Assembly Modification |
Indicates whether there is a change in the Part # / Serial # of the main core. The system displays “Yes” or “No”. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Engineering Document Details” multiline:
Ref. Doc. Type |
The type of the reference document associated to the work order. |
Ref. Doc # |
The code identifying the reference document for the work order. The system displays the Engineering Document # concatenated with the Revision # assigned to the task in the work order. |
Compliance Status |
Indicates the compliance status of the tasks within the engineering document. The system displays the following values: Complied – Indicates that all the tasks in the engineering document are completed. Not Complied – Indicates that one or more tasks are not completed. |
Sub Assembly Modification |
Indicates whether there is a change in the Part # / Serial # in the engineering document. The system displays either “Yes” or “No”. |
Existing Part # |
The code identifying the existing part in the engineering document. |
Existing Serial # |
The serial number of the existing part in the engineering document. |
Modified Part # |
The code identifying the modified part in the engineering document. |
Modified Serial # |
The serial number of the modified part in the engineering document. |
MCR # / Rev # |
The unique identifier of the maintenance change request raised against the engineering document. The revision number of the MCR. |
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Order Execution Details” tab to modify the execution details of the work order.
Select the “Part Movement & Disposition Details” tab to modify the movement and disposition details of the part.
Select the “Reference Details” tab to view the reference details of the work order.
Select the “Contract Terms & Conditions” tab to view the contract details of the work order.
Select the “Removal & Warranty Details” tab to modify the part removal details, warranty details and other ownership details of the work order.
Select the “Task Details” tab to view the details of the tasks in the engineering documents associated to the work order.
