Edit Repair Order – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to edit a repair order that is in “Draft” or “Fresh” status. You can also cancel a repair order in this activity.

You can edit the terms and conditions of a repair order. You can view the discrepancies reported, parameter information and repair cost history. You can release a repair order to the repair shop.

Modify the terms and conditions of the repair order

You can modify the forward shipping information, spares shipped for repair, spares return details and other terms and conditions in the repair order.

• Select the repair order to be modified, in the “Select Repair Order” page.

• Go to “Edit Repair Order” page.

• Select the “Edit Terms and Conditions“ link in the “Edit Repair Order” page, to define the terms and conditions.

View discrepancies and parameter details of the component

You can view the component replacement details and the discrepancies reported. You can also view the parameter details of the component.

• Select the repair order to be modified, in the “Select Repair Order” page.

• Go to “Edit Repair Order” page.

• Select the “View Discrepancies Reported“ link in the “Edit Repair Order” page, to view the discrepancies reported on the component.

• Select the “View Parameter Information” link in the “Edit Repair Order” page, to view the parameter details.

View the repair cost history

You can view the total labor, material and miscellaneous cost of  repair orders of similar nature.

• Select the repair order to be modified, in the “Select Repair Order” page.

• Go to “Edit Repair Order” page.

• Select the “View Repair Cost History” link in the “Edit Repair Order” page to view the history of repair order costs.
