Managing goods receipt reports
Select the “Reports” tab for printing / generating reports.
Enter the following field:
Display Option |
Use the drop-down list box to select the report that you wish to generate. The drop-down list box displays the following: Part Tag Report, Part Barcode Label, MMD Report and Inspection Checklist Report. |
Report Level |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether you wish to display part or serial-lot details in addition to part information in the Inspection Checklist report. The drop-down list box lists both Part-Level and Serial-Lot Level or only Not Applicable.

The system displays the following fields:
TAG |
The system displays "Yes", if the record is retrieved with the Display Option "Part Tag Report". Otherwise the system leaves the field blank. The “Yes” indicates that a part tag report can be generated for the line. Click on the hyperlink to generate the part tag report |
Received Part # |
The number identifying the part received from the supplier / customer |
From Entity |
Indicates whether the From area is a warehouse or a work center |
From Area |
The code identifying the area from where the routing slip is printed. |
To Entity |
Indicates whether the To area is a warehouse or a work center |
To Area |
The code identifying the area to where the part has to be delivered. |
Mfr. Part # |
The part number provided by the manufacturer of the part |
Qty |
The quantity of the part to be routed or received for the part # - serial # / lot # combination |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the part. |
Received Mfr. Serial # |
The serial number issued by the manufacturer of the part. |
Internal Serial # |
The serial # of the received part as generated by the system. |
Received Mfr. Lot # |
The lot number issued by the manufacturer of the part |
Internal Lot # |
The lot # of the received part as generated by the system. |
Condition |
The condition of the received part. |
Stock Status |
The code identifying the user defined status of the received part such as”Consignment” and “PBH”, that are predefined in the system. Some examples of UDSS could be “Under Inspection”, “In Transit” etc. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part |
RSL |
Indicates whether the Routing Slip report can be generated for the part. |
Select the “Generate Barcode Label” link to generate barcode label for the received part that you have selected in the multiline.
Note: You must have already selected Part Barcode Label in the Display Option drop-down list box.
Select the “Generate Goods Receipt Note” link to generate goods receipt note for the receipt document.
Select the “Generate Inspection Checklist Report” link to generate Inspection check list report.
Note: 1) To be able to generate the Inspection Checklist report, at least one quick code must exist in Active status under the category Inspection Checklist in the Manage Logistics Quick Codes activity of Logistics Common Master. 2) You must have selected Inspection Checklist Report in the Display Option drop-down list box to be able to access the “Generate Inspection Checklist Report” link. 3) The system generates the Inspection Checklist report for the entire goods receipt, displaying the Document Level Inspection Check-List defined for the given receipt, if you do not select any parts in the multiline. 4) The Inspection Checklist report will be printed only for those parts that are under inspection or that have already been inspected.
Select the “Generate MMD Report” link to generate MMD report for the receipt.
Note: The MMD report is generated only for those received parts that have been moved to the warehouse for binning or for which movement has already been initiated.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Part Details” tab for recording the details of the part.
Select the “Serial/ Lot Details” tab for recording the serial/ lot details of the part.
Select the “Work Requested – Customer Parts” tab for recording the work requested on customer parts.
Select the “Supplementary Info” tab for recording the additional details of the receipt / part.
Select the “Movement Details” tab for recording details of the part movement.
