Using this tab, you can update the parameter details.
Select the “Parameter Details” tab in the “Update Failure and Expense Information” page.
Note: If the claim entity is a valid part number as identified in the “Part Administration” business component, the system retrieves and displays the parameters mapped to the part from the “Aircraft” business component.
Note: If the part is of type “Component” the system retrieves and displays the parameters mapped to the part and the parameter values for "TSN" and "TSO" from the “Aircraft” business component.
Note: If the claim entity is "Aircraft" then the system retrieves and displays the parameters mapped to the aircraft and displays the current value as TSN.
The system displays the following details in the multiline:
Parameter |
The code identifying the consumption or the range parameter. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement for the consumption or range parameter. |
Enter the following fields:
TSN |
The cumulative flying hours of the component since it is manufactured. (Integer). The value entered here must be greater than or equal to zero. |
TSO |
The cumulative flying hours of the component since its last overhaul. (Integer). The value entered in this field must be greater than or equal to zero and lesser than or equal to the TSN value. |
Remarks |
Any additional remarks pertaining to the parameters. (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Note: The “TSN”, “TSO” and “Remarks” fields must be left blank, if no values are displayed in the “Parameter” field.
Click the “Record Parameter Info” pushbutton to record the parameter information.
The system performs the following on clicking the above pushbutton:
For the Claim #-Line # combination, if the Claim Entity is part # with part type “Component”, and for each parameter getting listed in the multiline, if there exists a TSN value already defined in the “Aircraft” business component, then the system ensures that the TSN value entered for the Parameter-UOM combination in the multiline is greater than or equal to the existing TSN value.
For the Claim #-Line # combination, if the Claim Entity is part # with part type “Component”, and for each parameter getting listed in the multiline, if there exists a TSO value already defined in the “Aircraft” business component, then the system ensures that the TSO value entered for the Parameter-UOM combination in the multiline is greater than or equal to the existing TSO value.
For the Claim #-Line # combination, if the Claim Entity is “Aircraft” and for each parameter getting listed in the multiline, if there exists a TSN value already defined in the “Aircraft” business component, then the system ensures that the TSN value entered for the Parameter-UOM combination in the multiline is greater than or equal to the existing TSN value.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Process Expenses” tab to update the expense details.
Select the “Warranty Ref. Documents” tab to update the warranty reference document details.
Select the “Execution Doc Details” tab to record the execution document details.
