This page enables you to retrieve the details of those tasks that are already defined in the system. You can carry out the search using the task number, its description, category, applicability, type and organizational unit description. The search retrieves entire details of tasks satisfying the search criteria as well as the organizational unit, relationship and repair scheme details.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Click the "Primary Search Criteria" tab to enter the primary search criteria details.
Click the "Additional Search Criteria" tab to enter the additional search criteria details.
Click the "Periodicity Based Search Criteria" tab to enter the periodicity based search criteria.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
If the “Part #” field is entered, while retrieving tasks for “Engine” and “Component”, the system retrieves only those tasks for which part number is defined as “Effective Part”.
The system retrieves the tasks in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the specified “Primary Search Criteria”, “Additional Search Criteria” and “Periodicity Based Search Criteria”.
Note: If you select “Repair Task #” or “Repair Task Description” in the Search On drop-down list box of the Additional Search Criteria” tab, the following fields do not appear in the in the Search Criteria multiline: Rep Seq #, Mandatory, Root Task # and Operator # fields. On the contrary, these fields appear in the multiline, if you have not selected “Repair Task #” or “Repair Task Description” in the Search On drop-down list box.

The order of execution for the task in the repair scheme of the root task. |
Revision # |
The task revision number that helps in tracing the changes made to the task. |
Task Description |
The short name/description of the task. |
Mandatory |
Indicates whether the repair task is mandatory in the repair scheme of the root task. |
Task Category |
The category of the task |
WBS Code |
The WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) code defined for the task. |
Base Aircraft Model # |
The number of the base aircraft model identified for the task. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter number to which the task belongs. |
Primary Task # |
The parent of the task. |
Relationship |
The relationship of the task with the root task, such as “Concurrent Group”, “Concurrent Specific” or “Concurrent Conditional”. |
Relationship Category |
The category of the relationship of the task with the root task that is typically “Execution”. |
Task Type |
The type of the task, which could be “MPD”, “CMM”, “MOD”, Non-Routine”, “Others” or all "Active" quick codes with quick code type as "Task Type". |
Operations Type |
The operation type of the maintenance activity. |
Task Applicability |
Indicates whether the task is applicable for the “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”. |
Operator # |
The operator associated with the task. |
Root Task # |
The task whose repair scheme entails the task. |
Work Center # |
The work center defined for task in the repair scheme of the root task, if the task is a repair task./ The work center defined for task in the “Create Task” activity, if the task is a primary task. |
MPD Item # |
The Maintenance Planning Document item number of the task. |
Est. Elapsed Time |
The total time estimated for completing the task (Time format). |
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement for the time allotted for the task. |
Status |
The status of the task, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Task Class |
The system displays “Non-Standard Task” or “Standard Task”, to indicate the class of the task. |
Org. Unit # |
The organizational unit in which the task is defined. |
Org. Unit Name |
The description of the organizational unit in which the task is defined. |
Check the check box in the multiline to select the task.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
