Additional search criteria for help on task number
This tab allows you to enter the additional Search Criteria for the task numbers.
Select the “Additional Search Criteria” tab in the main page.
Enter the following fields to search for a task. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Task Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the task you want to retrieve in the multiline. The drop-down list box displays the following.
The system retrieves all the tasks that are of the type specified here. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve details of tasks irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Operations Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the operation type of the maintenance activity. The system lists the following options:
The system retrieves all the tasks for the operation type selected here. |
Task Class |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task class. The system lists the options “Non-Standard Task” and “Standard Task”. The system displays “Standard Task” by default. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve details of tasks irrespective of their c lass. |
Exec. Phase |
Use the drop-down list box to select the execution phase of the task. The system lists the following options:
The system sets this field to “Regular” by default. The system retrieves all the tasks applicable for the execution phase selected here. |
MPD Item # |
The Maintenance Planning Document item number of the task (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks associated to the MPD item number entered here. |
Operator # |
The number identifying the operator associated with the task (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the operator number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks defined for the operator that you specify here. |
Search On |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task attribute for finding the related tasks of a primary task. The drop-down list box displays the following: Primary Task #, Primary Task Description, Repair Task # and Repair Task Description. Specify the task # in the input box alongside, if you have selected Primary Task #or Repair Task # in the drop-down list box. Similarly, provide the task description, if you have selected Primary Task Description or Repair Task Description in the drop-down list box. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the related tasks of a primary task with task # or description similar to task # or description that you specify. In the same way, if you have specified the repair task # or description, the system retrieves all the related tasks of the repair tasks as defined in the Maintain Repair Scheme activity. |
WBS Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the WBS code of the task. The drop-own list displays all the Active WBS codes defined in the Common Masters component. The system retrieves all tasks associated with the WBS code that you have selected here. |
Relationship |
Use the first drop-down list box to select the type of relationship of the task with its related/child tasks that you want to retrieve by the search. The drop-down list box displays the following: Planning and Execution. The drop-down list box displays the following: Planning and Execution. Select the relationship that the related/child tasks share with the task in the second drop-own list box. This drop-down list box displays the following:
Note: The drop-down list box will display no values, if you select Repair Task # or Repair Task Description in the Search On field. The system retrieves all related tasks sharing the relationship with primary tasks, which you specify here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
