This tab allows you to enter the primary search criteria for the task numbers.

Task #

The task for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the task numbers that are similar to the values entered here.

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model to which the task is associated (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks associated to the aircraft model entered here.

Task Description

The description of the task to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 150). Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks with descriptions that are similar to the description entered here.

Part # / Mfr. Part #

The part number of the component on which the task must be executed, or the number assigned to the part, by the manufacturer of the part. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks associated to the part number / manufacturer part number entered here.

Note

Task Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the task to be retrieved. The system lists all the task categories defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of tasks irrespective of their category. The system displays blank by default.

Task Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to select the entity for which, the task to be retrieved is applicable. The system provides the options “Aircraft”, “Engine” and “Component”. The system retrieves all the tasks that are applicable for the entity specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of tasks irrespective of their applicability. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Work Center #

The number identifying the work center primarily responsible for executing the work unit (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks for the work center specified here.

ATA #

The number identifying the ATA chapter to which the task belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks associated to the ATA chapter number entered here.

Display Option

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether you wish to retrieve specific or generic tasks. Select::

  • Directly Effective Tasks, to retrieve tasks effective to the Aircraft Model #/Part # / Mfr. Part #/Operator # that the user has specified in the Search Criteria.

  • All Effective Tasks, to retrieve all effective tasks (both specific and generic tasks) regardless of the maintenance object.
