Recording Part Details
This tab enables the user to record the part details of the Pool ID.
The system displays the following field:
Error |
The icon identifying the status of the particular row. |
Enter the following fields:
Part # |
The number identifying the Part # associated to the Pool ID. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following field:
Part Description |
The description of the Part #. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Part Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the part type. The system lists the values “Component”, “Consumable”, “Kit”, “Miscellaneous”, “Raw Material”, “Expendable” and “Tool” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Part Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to select the classification to which the part belongs. The system lists the options “Rotable”, “Controllable”, “Repairable” and “Non-Repairable” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Part Group |
Use the drop-down list box to select the part group. The system lists the all the ‘active’ group codes defined under the Purpose “Pool Effectivity” in the “Create Part/Service Groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Part Planning Group |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the part planning group. The system lists all the ‘active’ group codes defined under the Purpose “Inventory Planning” in the “Create Part/Service Groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
For A/C Model # |
The number identifying the Aircraft Model associated to the Part #. Help facility available. |
For A/C Reg. # |
The registration number of the Aircraft associated to the Part #. Help facility available. |
For A/C Group # |
The number identifying the Aircraft Group associated to the Part #. Help facility available. |
ATA # |
The number identifying the ATA chapter associated to the Part #. Help facility available. |

Any description pertaining to the Part #. |
User Defined Part Details – 1 |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user defined details for the Part #. The system lists all ‘active’ quick codes defined under the Quick Code Type ‘User Defined Part Details – 1’ in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component. |
User Defined Part Details – 2 |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user defined details for the Part #. The system lists all ‘active’ quick codes defined under the Quick Code Type ‘User Defined Part Details – 2’ in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component. |
User Defined Part Details – 3 |
Any additional information pertaining to the Part details. |
User Defined Part Details – 4 |
Any additional information pertaining to the Part details. |
The system displays the following field:
Error Message |
The error message of the particular row. |
Click the “Save Part Coverage” pushbutton to create/modify the part coverage details of the Pool ID.
The system updates the status of the Pool ID to ‘Fresh’ if Beneficiaries, Station Coverage and Warehouse Mapping tabs are saved successfully.
To proceed
Select the '' image
to launch the Beneficiaries
tab to record the details of the customer who benefit from the Pool.
Select the image
to launch the Exclusion
details tab to record the exclusion details, if specific parts
are with few customers.
Select the image
to launch the Station
Coverage tab to record the station details that are supported
from the pool.
Select the image
to launch the Warehouse
Mapping tab to map the warehouses to the Pool ID.
