This section dwells on the Inventory Operations business component and its activity Inventory Operations Hub.  

The “Inventory Operations Hub” page appears.

The “Manage Screen Defaults and Preferences” page appears.

This screen identifies the parameters which govern the data displayed in the “Inventory Operations” Hub facilitating the user to set the Preference for a given User – Role – User Interface combination.

My  Area and Easy Launch Panel

The system displays the following fields in the “My Area” section:

My Area

The area of operation for the login user based on which the documents shall be retrieved in the Hub for processing.

The “Select Area” popup appears:

Use the drop-down list box to select the attribute based on which the area of operation for the login user is selected. The system lists the following values: “Area”, “Storage Location”, “Warehouse” and “Work Center”.

 

Use the drop-down list box and select the value mapped to the login user. The system lists the values based on the option selected in the previous drop-down list box.

 

Use the drop-down list box to select the area of operation. The system lists the values based on the option selected in the previous drop-down list box. Refer Table.

Create

Select this radio button to create the receipts. User can enter a Purchase Order, Repair Order, Loan Order, Rental Order or a Stock Transfer Issue and press the “Go” button to create respective receipts.

Edit / View

Select this radio button to modify / view the receipt. User can enter a Goods Inward (Regular Purchase or Repair Receipt or Customer Goods Receipt), Loan / Rental Receipt or Stock Transfer Receipt and press the “Go” button to modify or view the respective receipt.

 

Use the drop-down list box and select the option based on which you wish to work on. The system lists the following option:

  • Goods Receipt

  • Stock Transfer Receipt

 

In the editable box provided alongside, enter the document # corresponding to the item selected.

Note: If the “Goods Receipt” is selected, ‘Manage Goods Receipt’ screen will be launched. If the drop-down field is selected as “Stock Transfer Receipt”, then the “Manage Stock Transfer  Receipt” screen will be launched.
