Selecting the physical inventory plan for viewing the details

This page allows you to select the inventory plan already defined in the system for viewing the details. Tell me more

Select the “View Physical Inventory Plan” link under the “Physical Inventory & Cycle Count” business component.

The “Select Physical Inventory Plan” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box:

PI Plan #

The number that identifies the PI plan you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 40).

Select the “View Physical Inventory Plan” link provided alongside, to view the plan details.

To search for the PI plan

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the PI plan:

PI Plan	The number that identifies the PI plan you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the PI plans with numbers similar to the value specified here.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the PI plan you wish to view. The system lists "Draft", "Confirmed", "Short Closed", "Cancelled" and "Closed" as options. The system retrieves all the PI plans of the status specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the PI plans irrespective of the status.
Plan Category	Use the drop-down list to select the category to which the PI plan belongs. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes of type “Plan Category” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the current business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.
User Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined status of the PI plan. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes of type “User Status” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the current business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Warehouse #	Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse for which the physical inventory plan was generated. If you are working in the Main base, the drop-down list box lists those Active warehouses defined in the Storage Administration component, which are currently not offline and allow “Physical Inventory” transactions. Alternatively, if you are working in a Field base, the drop-down list box displays those Active warehouses mapped to the offline area that allow “Physical Inventory” transactions. The system retrieves all the PI plans for the warehouse specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the PI plans irrespective of the warehouse.
WH – Zone #	The number that identifies the zone for which the physical inventory plan was generated (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the PI plans in which the zone numbers are similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the PI plans irrespective of the zone number.
Part #	The number that identifies the part for which the PI plan was generated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the PI plans in which the part numbers are similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the PI plans irrespective of the part number.
Planned By	The name of the user who created the physical inventory plan you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the PI plans in which the planner name is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the PI plans irrespective of the planner name.

Note: Leave all the search fields blank, to retrieve all the PI plans in the "Draft", "Confirmed", "Short Closed", "Cancelled" or "Closed" status.

Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the PI plan.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

PI Plan #	The PI plan retrieved by the system.
PI Plan Description	The textual description of the PI plan.
Warehouse #	The warehouse for which the PI plan was generated.
Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse.
WH –Zone #	The zone in the warehouse for which the PI plan was generated.
Zone Description	The textual description of the zone.
Plan Status	The status of the PI plan.
User Status	The user status of the PI plan.
Created Date	The date on which the PI plan was created.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the PI plan for viewing count/recount results, tag history or the PI summary.
Click the hyperlinked PI plan number, to view the plan details.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Tag Count/ Recount Results” link, to view the count and recount results of the PI tag.
Select the “View Tag History” link, to view the history of the tags generated.
Select the “View PI Summary” link, to view the summary of the PI plan.

Selecting the physical inventory plan for viewing the details – An overview

This page allows you to select the inventory plan already defined in the system for viewing the details. You can directly enter the PI plan number, if you know it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the number, status and the category of the PI plan. You can also search based on the part number, warehouse and zone of the part for which the PI plan was generated. The system retrieves the PI plan based on the search criteria.
