Project Resource Allocation - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can:
Identify and allocate employees for a project
Establish reporting relationship
The tasks allotted to an employee using this activity form secondary assignments. The primary assignment is defined in the "Employment Information" component.
After assigning a project to an employee, you must set up the supervisor to whom the employee must report.
The period during which the supervisor will be responsible for the employee is recorded using the Map Reporting Relationship screen.

Primary assignment must have been defined in the Employment Information component for both employee and supervisor.
Department / project must have been defined in the Department Master.
You must possess appropriate access privileges.
What you can do in this activity
To define secondary assignments for employees in this activity:
Select the employment unit where projects have been defined.
Specify the stage and project
Add details such as employment unit for the employee, employee code; stage, start date and end date of the assignment. Employee name, assignment number, department description, position title, job title, grade set and grade are automatically retrieved by the system. You can also edit the existing details.
Save the details.
