Minimum Desired Level

The minimum desired level of a competency indicates the minimum extent to which the competency must be present in an employee. For example, if the MDL for the competency “Communication Skills” is 3 or 4, it indicates the minimum extent to which the competency must be present in the employee. In this example, the maximum value of the competency is set as 5, in the system parameters.

Competency Weightage

This refers to a number to indicate the importance of the competency, in comparison with all the other competencies listed for the subordinate. Note that the system allows you to nullify the weightage of an existing competency, by changing its weightage to zero.

Additionally, you can also view the job competencies, department and position competency mapping. The competencies are mapped to the department, job, and position accordingly. Apart from this you can also view the assignment competency.
