This page allows you to check the availability of the part and its alternate part in the requesting stock status and in other stock statuses.
Select “Check Part Availability” link under the “Stock Maintenance” business component.
The “Check Part Availability” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Part Details” group box::
Part #/ Stock Status |
The number identifying the part available in the warehouse. Mandatory. When you click the “Get Details” pushbutton, the system ensures that the entered part number is valid as defined in the “Part Administration” business component. Help facility available. Use the drop-down list box to select the user defined status of the stock. Mandatory. The system lists all the “Active” stock statuses defined in the “User Defined Stock Status” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default. |

Use the drop-down list box to select the number identifying the warehouse . The system lists all the “Active” warehouses defined in the “Storage Administration” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the details on the availability of the parts.
Select the “Stock Availability” tab to view the details of stock availability
Select the “Alternate Stock Availability” tab to view the details of the availability of alternate stock
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Inquire Warehouse Stock Balance” link at the bottom of the page, to inquire the stock balance in a warehouse
Select the “Inquire Stock Balance” link at the bottom of the page to inquire the stock balance details of the part across warehouses.
Select the “View Availability of Alternate Parts” link at the bottom of the page, to view the availability of alternate parts for the requesting part.
Select the “View Allocated Quantity” link at the bottom of the page, to view the allocated quantity details of the requesting part.
