Viewing Opening Balance – A summary of the activity

This activity enables you to view the details of the opening balance document that is already defined in the “Create Opening Balance” activity. The ”Select Opening Balance Document” page allows you to enter the search criteria and select the opening balance document to be viewed. The details of the selected opening balance can be viewed in the “View opening balance” page.

The ”View Serial & Lot Details” page enables you to view the details for parts that are serial or lot number controlled. You can view the parameter information of the part, which is serial number controlled. You can view the component parameters, such as the time or cycle since the component was manufactured or underwent maintenance like overhaul, repair and inspection.

You can view the valuation method of the stock, which could be LIFO, FIFO, average, standard and actual cost.
