Viewing the parameter details for the serial or lot number controlled part
You can view the maintenance parameter values for the part for which the opening balance has been recorded. Tell me more
Select the “View Parameter Information” link in the “View Serial & Lot Details” page.
The “View Parameter Information” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Opening Balance Creation Information” group box:
Opening Balance # |
The number identifying the opening balance document. |
Status |
The status of the opening balance document, which could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Authorized” or “Cancelled”. |
Line # |
The line number of the opening balance document for which the parameter details are displayed. |
Enter the following:
Part Serial # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the serial number of the part to view the parameter information. The system lists all the part serial numbers contained in the opening balance document. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the parameter details of the selected part serial number.
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which the parameter details are displayed. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Condition |
The condition of the part, which could be “New”, “Overhaul”, “Serviceable” or “Non Serviceable”. |
The system displays the following in the “Certificate Details” group box:
Certificate Type |
The type of the certificate that is issued to the specified part or supplier. |
Certificate Date |
The date on which the certificate was issued. |
Certificate # |
The code identifying the certificate. |
Authorization # |
The code identifying the authorization. |
System Tracking Ref # |
The number that is used to track the certification details of the stock. |
Warranty Lapse Date |
The date on which the warranty of the part lapses. |
The system displays the following in the “Parameter Details” multiline:
Parameter |
The measurable attribute of a component, such as CSO /TSO /CSI /TSI /CSR /TSR (Cycles or Time Since Overhaul/Inspection/Repair), through which the life and maintenance of a component is monitored. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement, such as flying hours or flying cycles, for monitoring the life and maintenance of a component. |
Unknown? |
Indicates whether the “Since New” value was known or not known, when the part was first inducted into the system. |
Since New |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since it is manufactured. |
Since Overhaul |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last overhaul in the shop. |
Since Repair |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last repair in the shop. |
Since Inspection |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last inspection in the shop. |
Since Last Shop Visit |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last visit to the shop for maintenance. |
Warranty Y/N |
The system displays “Yes”, if the part is under warranty. Otherwise, the system displays “No”. |
Warranty Value |
The value of the part that is covered under warranty. |
Viewing the parameter details for the serial or lot number controlled part – An overview
You can view the maintenance parameter values for the part for which the opening balance has been recorded. The parameter details can be viewed only for the part, which is serial number controlled. You can view component parameters, such as the time or cycle since the component was manufactured or underwent maintenance like overhaul, repair and inspection.
You can also view the warranty details for the serial number controlled part. If the part is under warranty period, you can view the warranty value of the stock.
