Viewing the rate and value details - An overview

Viewing Opening Balance - A summary of the activity

This page displays the rate and value of a part. For parts that are valued using weighted average cost, and Actual Lot Cost methods. For parts that are valued using the actual cost method, the system displays the rate and value associated to the lot number.

The entry type indicates the method in which you can enter the rate details. If the entry type is ”Single” then for a Weighted Average valuated part rate needs to be specified as a single entry. If the entry type is “Multiple” then you can split the quantity for a Weighted Average part and specify the sequence in which the stock came into the warehouse.
