Edit Cost Element Structure – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to modify the details of a cost element structure. You can modify the details of a cost element structure that is in the “Active” status. You can search and select the cost element structure for which you want to modify the details. You can modify or include new formula to the cost element structure.

This activity also allows you to modify the cost element tree structure. You can include new nodes and also modify the details of the existing nodes. The modifications made to the nodes are updated in the tree structure. You can also delete a node that is, remove a node from the cost element tree structure. The system removes all the nodes that are below it automatically. However you cannot delete all the nodes on the top most level of hierarchy of the selected tree structure. This activity also allows you to create new formula that can be included in the structure.
