Selecting cost element structure for modification

This page allows you to search and select the cost element structure that you want to modify. If you know code identifying the cost element structure you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search by specifying a range and the description of cost element structures that you want to retrieve. The system retrieves the details of all the cost element structures that are in the “Active” status based on the search criteria entered.

Select the “Edit Cost Element Structure” link under the “Cost Setup” business component.

The “Select Cost Element Structure” page appears.

Enter the following field if you are aware of the code identifying the cost element structure for which you want modify the details:

CE Structure ID

The code identifying the cost element structure for which you want to modify details (Alphanumeric, 10).

Select the “Edit Structure” link provided alongside to modify the structure details.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the cost element structure for which you want to modify the details. Data-entry in the following fields is optional:

Structure ID From

The starting code in the range of cost element structure codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 10).

Note: The code entered in this field must be before or the same as the code entered in the “To” field.

To	The ending code in the range of cost element structure codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 10).
Description	The description of the cost element structure (Alphanumeric, 40).

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the structure details.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Cost Element Structure Details” multiline:

Structure ID	The code identifying the cost element structure.
	Data Hyperlink available
Description	The description of the cost element structure.
