Setting scheduling process parameters

Select the “Scheduling Process Parameters” activity under the “Work Scheduling” component.
The “Set Process Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Parameters For” group box to set or update parameters for the job type, station and work center combination.
Job Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the job type for which you want to set/update parameters. Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays All, Aircraft Maintenance Execution and Shop Work Order. Note: If ‘All’ is selected as the job type, it infers that the parameters/priorities/objectives are mapped to all the job types. Later on. If parameters/priorities/objectives are required to be set for specific job type, all the parameters/priorities/objectives existing for the ‘All’ job type must be deleted and then parameters/priorities/objectives may be set against the required job type. The same procedure must be followed whenever you wish to revert to the ‘All’ job type. All the parameters/priorities/objectives set against all the job types must be deleted and then parameters/priorities/objectives can be set against the ‘All’ job type. |
Station |
Use the drop-down list box to select the station for which you want to set/update parameters. Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays “All Stations” and all the Active stations. Note: If “All Stations” is selected as the station, it infers that the parameters/priorities/objectives are mapped to all the stations. Later on. If parameters/priorities/objectives are required to be set for specific station, all the parameters/priorities/objectives existing for the ‘All’ station must be deleted and then parameters/priorities/objectives may be set against the required station. The same procedure must be followed whenever you wish to revert to “All Stations”. All the parameters/priorities/objectives set against all the individual stations must be deleted and then parameters/priorities/objectives can be set against “All Stations”. |
Work Center |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work center for which you want to set/update g parameters. Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays “All Work Centers” and all Active execution work centers mapped to selected station. Note: If “All Work Centers” is selected as the station, it infers that the parameters/priorities/objectives are mapped to all the work centers. Later on. If parameters/priorities/objectives are required to be set for specific work center, all the parameters/priorities/objectives existing for “All Work Centers” must be deleted and then parameters/priorities/objectives may be set against the required work center. The same procedure must be followed whenever you wish to revert to “All Work Centers”. All the parameters/priorities/objectives set against all the individual work centers must be deleted and then parameters/priorities/objectives can be set against “All Work Centers”. |
Select the “Scheduling Parameters” tab to set scheduling parameters against the combination of Job Type, Station and Work Center.
Select the “Time Fence Setup” tab to set time fence parameters against the combination of Job Type, Station and Work Center.
Note: You can define the Time Fence parameters against the combination of Job Type, Station and Work Center, only if the parameter ‘Restrict Modifications to schedule with default time fence at’ is set either ‘1-Order level’ or ‘2-Task level’.
Select the “Initial Prioritization Setup” tab to set prioritization rules against the combination of Job Type, Station and Work Center. Based on the set rules, the AME/Shop work orders will be prioritized in the stations and work centers for execution.
Select the “Optimization Objectives Setup“ tab to set optimization objectives against the combination of Job Type, Station and Work Center.
