Defining Initial prioritization tab
You can set priorities against a unique combination of Job type, Station and Work center with the highest priority as 1.These priorities will be taken into consideration by the scheduling engine for scheduling of execution of shop work orders and aircraft packages in the work centers.
Select the “Initial Prioritization Setup” tab in the “Set Process Parameters” page.
The multiline displays the following.
Applicable Parameter |
The priority parameter for which you intend to record definition. |
Enter the following in the multiline.
Applicable? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the constraint parameter is applicable or not. The drop-down list box displays Yes or No. |
Priority Sequence |
The cardinality of the priority, such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… Note: This field is mandatory, if you have selected ‘Yes’ in the “Applicable?” field. Alternately, leave the field unspecified, if you have selected ‘No’ in the “Applicable?” field. |
Secondary Sequence |
Displays “Not Applicable “ for the following parameters: § Job Date (First-In-First-Served) § Earliest Due Date § Lowest Critical Ratio § Lowest Slack Time Displays "Pending Setup" for the following parameters - Order Priority and Warranty Coverage during record creation. On save of the record, this field will display "Setup done". Click on the data hyperlink to open the “Parameter specific Seq. Setup” popup and record/view Secondary priority details for the parameter. |
The multiline displays the following.
Seq Updated By |
The login user who last updated the record. |
Seq Updated Date |
The date on which the login user last updated the record. |
Click the "Save Prioritization Rules" pushbutton to save the prioritization rules.
To Proceed
Select the “Scheduling Parameters” tab.
Select the “Time Fence Setup” tab.
Select the “Optimization Objectives Setup” tab.
