Creating authorization committee – An overview
This page allows you to create an authorization committee that would authorize engineering document. The authorization of engineering document can be routed through various levels of the authorization committee. You can create the authorization committee and the levels to which you can associate members and set authorization rules.
You can create an authorization committee by providing a unique identifier to it. You can enter the level number and authorization details such as the ATA chapter based on which the authorization must be done. For every level, you can specify whether the previous level authorization is mandatory or not. You can also specify whether any member, or all the members of the authorization committee, must authorize the engineering document.
You can associate ATA chapters to the authorization committee. The committee authorizes the engineering document based on the ATA chapter associated to it. For example, if the ATA chapter number "211000" with the description "Compression" is associated to an authorization committee “AC1”, then only authorization committee “AC1” can authorize the engineering documents raised on the ATA chapter 211000.
