Help on Authorization Committee
This page allows you to retrieve the details of authorization committees that are already defined. You can carry out the search using the authorization committee number, level number, and ATA number. The system displays details such as authorization committee number, level number and previous level authorization.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Authorization Committee #” field in the main page.
The “Help on Authorization Committees” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a work unit. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Authorization Committee # |
The number identifying the authorization committee for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the authorization committees whose number are similar to the value entered here. |
Level # |
The number identifying the level of the authorization (Integer). You can enter the number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the authorization committees with level numbers similar to the value entered here. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter associated to the authorization committee (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the authorization committees whose ATA chapter matches the number selected here. |
Click the “Search” button to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the ”Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:
Authorization Committee # |
The unique number to identify the authorization committee. |
Level # |
The unique number identifying the level of the authorization. |
Previous level authorization |
Indication whether authorization is required for the level number, which can be “mandatory” or “not mandatory”. |
Authorization by |
The mode by which the engineering document can be authorized, which can be “all members” or “any member". |
Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the authorization committee.
Click the “OK” button.
