Component Maintenance Program -An overview

The component maintenance program provides a means to group all the scheduled maintenance activities to be performed on the component, and provides a single lookup for all the maintenance-related information for a component.

The component maintenance program (CMP) can either be created directly at the component level, or details can be copied from the part program in bulk at the part # level. In either case, the program details like work units and their schedules can be modified.

The part program is used primarily in the bulk creation of component maintenance programs across Part # or Serial #

The schedules define the periodicity details for execution of each work unit. The schedules can be date based or usage based.
