Inquire deferment request Status – A summary of the activity

The “Inquire Deferment Requirement Status” activity allows you to modify or view the details of a deferment request. You can select the deferment request and modify its deferment details or the deferral limits. You can also view the details of the deferment request, in this activity.
The “Select Deferment Request” page helps you to select deferment requests for modifying or viewing. The “Edit Deferment Request Details” page allows you to modify deferment request details. The “Edit Schedules Information” page enables you to modify deferral limits for a work unit. The “View Deferment Request Details” page helps you to view the deferment request of a work unit.

What you can do in this activity
Cancel or confirm the deferment request
Modify the deferment request details

Cancel or confirm the deferment request
You can cancel or confirm the deferment request, which is in the “Fresh” status.
Select a deferment request in the multiline of the “Select Deferment Request” page.
Select the “Edit Deferment Requests Details” link at the bottom of the page.
The system displays the “Edit Deferment Request Details” page.
Click the “Confirm Deferment Request” pushbutton to confirm the selected deferment request.
On clicking the pushbutton, the system changes the status of the selected deferment request to “Confirmed”.
Click the “Cancel Deferment Request” pushbutton to cancel the selected deferment request.
On clicking the pushbutton, the system changes the status of the selected deferment request to “Cancelled”.
Modify the deferment request details
You can modify the deferment request details of a work unit before processing the deferment request. You modify the deferral type and the reason category of the deferment request. You can modify the comments pertaining to the deferment of the work units.
Select a deferment request in the multiline of the “Select Deferment Request” page.
Select the “Edit Deferment Requests Details” link at the bottom of the page.
The system displays the “Edit Deferment Request Details” page.
Use the “Edit Deferment Request Details” page to modify the deferment details for the selected work unit.
Modify the deferral limits for a work unit
You can modify the deferral limits for a work unit. You can modify the time based deferral limits and usage based deferral limits. The work unit is deferred, based on the deferral values specified here.
Select a work unit in the multiline of the “Edit Deferment Request Details” page.
Select the “Edit Deferral Limits” link at the bottom of the page.
The system displays the “Edit Schedules Information” page.
Use the “Edit Deferral Limit” page to modify the time based and the usage based deferral limis for the work unit.
