Edit Component Family – A summary of the activity

The “Edit Component Family” activity allows you to modify the details of the component family that are already defined. The ”Select Component Family” page allows you to specify the search criteria and select the component family to be modified. The “Edit Component Family” page allows you to modify the details of the selected component family

What you can do in this activity
Activate or Inactivate the component family
Activate or Inactivate the component family
You can inactivate a component family that is in the “Active” status, so that it is disabled from future reference in other activities.
Go to “Edit Component Family” page.
Set the “Status” field to “Inactive”.
The system updates the status of the component family to “Inactive”.
