Help on zones

This Help page allows you to search and select a zone and transfer the same to the field in which it is required. You can carry out the search using the zone number, its category and organizational unit description. Details such as zone number, its description and its category are displayed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Zone #” field in the main page.

The “Help on Zones” page appears.

The system displays the following in the "Model Details" group box:

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model to which the zone is associated .

Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a zone. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Zone #	The zone number for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all zones whose numbers are similar to the value entered here.
Category	The category of the zone to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the category in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all zones whose categories are similar to the category entered here.
Org. Unit Name	Use the drop-down list box to select the description of the organizational unit in which the zone to be retrieved, belongs. Leave the field blank to retrieve all zones that belong to all the organizational units depending on the organizational model. The system displays the organizational unit to which you have logged into by default.

Note: The system retrieves only the zones associated to the model number displayed in the "Model Details" group box.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Zone #	The number identifying the zone.
Description	The textual description of the zone.
Category	The category to which the zone belongs.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the zone.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.
