Manage Service Pricelist – A summary of the activity

This activity is a master where you can record the rates chargeable for the resources utilized in a maintenance service. You can create / modify / revise a service pricelist. The prices of all the services are recorded in the pricelist. Multiple pricelists can be maintained for different kind of services.  These pricelists can be used for different business scenarios by referring components. You can also confirm or cancel the service pricelist in this activity.

Service pricelists enable planners to define the resource price for the services rendered to customers. You can quote the price for the service and bill the customer based on the defined price. You can also refer a part pricelist in the service pricelist which will help in determining the material price used in a service.

Create service pricelist

You can create a pricelist for defining the rates of resources for the services rendered to customers.

4      Select the “Create Service Pricelist” page.

4      Use the “Manage Service Pricelist” page to create service pricelist.

Modify or revise service pricelist

You can modify service pricelist details.

4      Select the service pricelist to be modified or revised, in the “Select Service Pricelist” page.

4      Use the “Manage Service Pricelist” page to modify the service pricelist details.

Confirm a service pricelist after revision

After creating a service pricelist, you can confirm when the status of the service pricelist is “Fresh”.

 In the “Manage Service Pricelist” page,

4      Select the “Edit Non-Billable Elements” link to record the Tasks, Parts, Resources and Charges that are not billable.

Modify roster code details

In the “Manage Service Pricelist” page,

4      Select the “Edit Roster Code Details” link to record the roster code  values.

Activate the service pricelist

4      Use the “Activate Service Pricelist “ pushbutton to activate the selected service pricelist.

Note: The system updates the status of the service pricelist as “Active”.

Inactivate the service pricelist

4      Use the “Inactivate Service Pricelist” pushbutton to inactivate the selected service pricelist.

Note: The system updates the status of the service pricelist as “Inactive”.
