Activating /Deactivating service pricelist

Select the “Activate/Inactivate Service Pricelist” activity under the “Service Pricelist” business component.
The “Activate/Inactivate Service Pricelist” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following in the“Search Criteria" group box:

Service Price List # |
The number identifying the service pricelist the details of which you wish to retrieve in the multiline. |

Description |
The textual description of the service pricelist (Alphanumeric, 100). Mandatory. |
|
Pricelist Category |
Use the drop down list box to specify the category to which the service pricelist belongs. The system displays all the categories that are in the “Active” Status as defined in the “Category” business component. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the service pricelist that you wish to retrieve. You can select from “Active”, “Confirmed” and “Inactive’. |

Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the currency for the part pricelist. The system lists all the currency codes that are identified as permitted currencies for the company in the “Enterprise Setup” business component. By default, the system displays the Base Currency. |

Part Pricelist # |
The number identifying the part pricelist (Alphanumeric, 10). This field should not be left blank, when the “Pricing Method” is “Direct”. Ensure that the part pricelist usage is marked for service sales. Leave this field blank, when the “Pricing Method” is “Work Unit Wise List”. Help facility available. |

Valid From |
The date starting from which the service pricelist becomes effective (Date Format). Mandatory. |
|
Valid To |
The date till which the service pricelist remains effective (Date Format). Ensure that the “Effective To Date” is later than the “Effective From Date”. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in the multiline.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Service Price List # |
The number identifying the service price list. |
Select the data hyperlink in the Service Pricelist # column for the record you want to modify prior to activating / deactivating, in the “Select Service Pricelist” page.

The number identifying the service pricelist. |

Description |
The textual description of the service pricelist |
|
Status |
The status of the service pricelist which could be “Active” “Inactive” or “Confirmed”. |

Price List Category |
The category to which the service pricelist belongs |
|
Currency |
The currency for the service pricelist. |
|
Effective Date From |
The date starting from which the service pricelist becomes effective (Date Format). Mandatory. |
|
Effective Date To |
The date till which the service price list remains effective (Date Format). Ensure that the “Effective To Date” is later than the “Effective From Date”. |

Remarks |
Any additional detail pertaining to the service pricelist (Alphanumeric, 255). |

Click the “Activate” pushbutton to activate the service pricelist.
Click the “Inactive” pushbutton to inactivate the service pricelist.
Click the “Return” pushbutton to return the service pricelist.
To return the service price list
Click the “Return Service Price List” pushbutton to return the service price list.
Note: Only service price lists that are in confirmed status can be returned. The system updates the status of the service price list as “Returned”.
To activate the service price list
Click the “Activate Service Price List “ pushbutton to activate the service price list.
Note: The system updates the status of the service price list as “Activated”.
To inactivate the service price list
Click the “Inactivate Service Price List” pushbutton to inactivate the service price list.
Note: The system updates the status of the service price list as “Inactivated”.
