Recording additional charge details
This section helps you to record charge details, it can be from the work order, customer order or a charge can be added in quotation also.
Select the “Addl. Charges” tab in the “Manage Sale Quotation” page.
The “Addl. Charges” tab page appears:
Enter the “Search Filters” group box:
Search By |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the attribute based on which you wish to proceed with the search. Data selection in this field is mandatory if values are specified in any of the editable boxed alongside. The system lists the following options:
By default the system leaves this field blank. |

In the editable boxes alongside, select a value corresponding to the search criteria selected based which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. You can enter the value in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the numbers belonging to the “Search By” specified here. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve all the numbers irrespective of the value entered in this field. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the search details.

besides “Summary” to view the total price:
The system displays the following:
Total Billable Addl. Charges |
The sum of all the values in the “Final Price” column in the multiline. Note that for the purpose of price calculation the only following parameters are included:
Tasks with “Billable?” option set as “Yes” or is left blank |
Select any one of the following radio buttons:
Quote Level |
Select this radio button if you wish to retrieve quotation details of a task at a primary level. By default this radio button remains unchecked. |
Detail Level |
Select this ratio button if you wish to retrieve quotation details of tasks at an operation / execution level ie., child level tasks will also be included. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:

Quotation Indicator. This could any of the following:
Note that while creating a quotation this field will be blank. |
Caps. Ind. |
The limit on the price of material used for servicing an object beyond which the customer will not be charged. Note that on modification of the price, the caps value “Applied” will be updated as “Re-Compute” on selecting the “Save” pushbutton. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline::
Price Disp. |
Details of pricing of the resource that the task utilized for repair/maintenance. For example, a) whether the price for the resource has been determined and is available for billing in the relevant part pricelist. B) The reasons for not pricing the resource, if prices for the resource have not been set yet. Note: This field displays details of pricing only if the pricing basis is “Fixed Price”. |
Charge Level |
Indicates the level of charges against the customer order, which could be Quote level, Order Level or Task Level. |
Exec. Doc. Type |
The type of the executive document to which the task was allocated for execution. |
Exec. Doc. # |
The execution document to which the task was allocated for execution. |
Parent WO # |
The parent work order of the execution document to which the task was allocated for execution. |
Task # |
The task allocated to the execution document. |
Task Seq. # |
The order of execution of the task in the execution document. |
WBS Code |
The work breakdown structure (WBS) code of the task. |
Task Desc. |
The description/short name of the task. |
Pricing Basis |
The pricing basis for the task, such as T & M, Fixed Price or Usage-based. |
Enter the following in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:
Charge Code |
The number that identifies the charge to be levied on the customer order. Ensure that the code specified in this field is a valid and in “Active” status as defined in the “TCD” business component. Help facility available |
The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:

The short name / description of the charge. |
Enter the following field in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:
Variant # |
The standard tax, charge or discount value, which is the variant of the specified TCD code for the TCD code. Data entry in this field is mandatory if the “Charge Code” is specified. Ensure that the code specified in this field is a valid and in “Active” status as defined in the “TCD” business component. Help facility available |
The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:

Price Factor |
The price factor for a pricing combination of OEM or Part Level Pricing Basis. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:
Mark-up |
The extended Mark-up i.e., the percentage of income of the extended amount which is added to the markup. |
Final Price |
The final price, which is the billing price. Calculation of the Final Price 1. When caps is not applicable Final Price = Ext. Price 2. When caps is applicable Final Price = Amount + Capped Mark-up |

The description of the price. |
Enter the following in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:
Accounting Usage |
Use the drop-down list box to select the accounting usage for the additional charge against the customer order. The drop-down list box displays all those usages that are defined for the Sales function, Customer Order transaction and Customer order transaction type. This field is mandatory, if the charge level is “Order”. However, if the charge level is “Task”, the drop-down list box displays no values. |
Cost Center |
The cost center to book the additional charge on the customer order. Help facility available |
The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:

Estimation remarks from the work order. |

The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:
Invoiced? |
Indicates whether the additional charges is already billed, which could be “Yes” or “No” |
Sys. Billable? |
Indicates whether the task is billable as per the system. |
Enter the following in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:
Billable? |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the tasks are billable in the customer order. The system lists the options “Yes” and “No”. |
COA? |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the state of COA for a task to be performed on a part. COA (Contract Over and Above) refers to the performance of a task which required deviation from the contract over and above without requiring approval. The system lists the following options:

Price Narration |
A brief message on the price. Mandatory |
Internal Notes |
Details regarding the customer specifications as provided by the CSM. Mandatory |
The system displays the following fields in the “Quoted Additional Charges” multiline:
Pricing Notes |
The pricing notes for the task as available in the sale contract for a fixed price definition of the customer order. |
Task Type |
The type of the task executed on the maintenance object with reference to an engineering document. |
Service Pricelist # |
The unique number identifying the service pricelist. |
Revision # |
The unique number identifying the revision of the part pricelist. |
Last Updated Log |
The name of the columns which were last updated in sequence. |
Pricing Source |
The input source of fixed prices (FP – Mat., FP – Lab. And FP – Oth. Res.), such as System or User. This field displays “System”, if no user has modified the fixed prices since they were set in the sale contract. Conversely, “User” is displayed here, if users have modified the fixed prices. |
Modification Notes |
The reasons for change in fixed prices of the task. This field is mandatory, if the user has modified any of the fixed prices. |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the service sale quote. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the service sale quote was last modified. |
Click the “Save Addl. Charges” pushbutton to save the charge details.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Main Info.” tab page to record quote information.
Select the “Ref. Info.” tab page to view details of the estimated tasks.
Select the “Materials” tab page to record quotation for the materials used.
Select the “Resources” tab page to record quotation for labor.
Select the “Ext. Services.” tab page to record quotation for parts sent for external repair.
Select the “Direct Qt. Info.” tab page to record details of non-estimated.
Select the “NTE Price Exceedance” tab page to enable the order value gets adjusted within the NTE limit based on the exclusions set in contract.
Select the “CO T/C/D” tab page to compute and record details on taxes, charges and discounts.
Select the “CO Maint. Object" tab page to view details of parts used to perform tasks.
Select the “Pricing Summary" tab page to have a concise view of prices in all the tab pages.
Select the “Confirm” pushbutton to confirm a quotation.
