The “Manage Deferral Transaction” page appears.

Create

Select this radio button to create a deferral transaction.

By default this radio button remains selected.

Review

Select this radio button to review a deferral transaction.

Finance Book/Document Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book associated with the transactions that are to be deferred.

 

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of document for the corresponding finance book specified. The system lists the following values:

  • Supp. Exp. Inv.

  • Cust. Misc. Inv.

  • Journal Voucher

  • Direct

By default the system displays 'Supplier Expense Invoice' in this field.

Document # From/To

The starting number in the range of document numbers from which the document details must be retreived. The system lists all the document numbers that are greater than or similar to the value entered here.

 

The ending number in the range of document numbers up to which the document details must be retreived. The system retrieves all the numbers that are similar to the entered value.

Document Date From/To

The starting date in the range of document dates from which the document details must be retrieved (Date Format). Mandaoty. The system lists all the journal vouchers that are raised later than this date.

By default the system displays the date three months back from the current system date.

Ensure that the date specified in this field is ealier than the date given in the ‘Document To’ field.

 

If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves the documents starting from the first document in the database till the document raised on the date specified in the “To” field.

By default the system displays the current system date.

Src.  Account Code

The source account code identifying the account.  The system retrieves all the vouchers, which includes the code identifying the account in the accounting information.

Src. Cost Center

The code identifying the source cost center.  The cost center must have been defined in the “Cost Setup” business component.

Src. Analysis / Sub Analysis Code

The source analysis code to which the selected account is mapped in the "Assign Analysis Code" activity of the "Account Based Budgeting" business component (Alphanumeric, 5). /The sub analysis code, which is mapped to the analysis code in the "Assign Sub Analysis Code" activity of the "Account Based Budgeting" business component (Alphanumeric, 5).

Process #

The number identifying the process

Process Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the process. The system lists the following:

  • Fresh - Select this option to retrieve process numbers that are in ‘Fresh’ status only

  • Authorized - Select this option to retrieve process numbers that are in ‘Authorized’ status only

  • Deleted - Select this option to retrieve process numbers that are in ‘Deleted’ status only

Deferral Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of deferral. The system lists all the quick codes that are defined for the entity ‘Deferral Type’ in the 'Create Quick Codes' activity of the ‘Qucik Codes' business component.

By default the system displays ‘All’ in this field.

Review Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the review option. The system lists the following options:

  • Deferral Transactions

  • Deferral JVs

Date From/To

The starting date in the range of document dates from which the Journal Voucher details must be retrieved (Date Format). Mandaoty. The system lists all the journal vouchers that are raised later than this date.

By default the system displays ‘All’ in this field.
