Training General Information – An Overview

 

Getting familiar with the activities

The "Training General Information" component enables the administrators to maintain data on the basic elements of the training system including courses, trainers and venues.

A brief on the activities in this component follows:

Defining Courses: You can create and modify the attributes of courses. You can also record the details of tests that the employees have to pass to qualify the course. The details of specified courses can also be viewed.

Defining External Trainers: You can create, modify and view the details of external trainers. These trainers belong to external organizations.

Defining Venues: You can create, modify and view the details of venues.

Defining Internal Trainers: Through this activity, you can define an internal venue within the organization, where the training programs can be conducted.  You can create, modify and view the details of internal trainers, who are employees of the organization.

Position Course Mapping: You can map courses to a position. You can also specify whether the course is mandatory for the position.
