Hold Salary Payment - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can withhold salary for an employee or a group of employees, for a particular process period.
Holding the salary payment: Holding a salary payment means that you have stopped the processing of salary payment of an employee or a group of employees. It indicates that the salary has been processed but will not be considered for payments.

Payset
Process period
In response to these specifications, the system displays all the employee records that are mapped for the specified payroll, for the process period. You can select employee(s) and hold their salaries from payment.

Specify the payroll, payset and the process period to which the employees(s) are mapped in the “Hold Salary Payments” page.
Specify the employees whose salary payments are to be held.
