The “Select Increment Set” page appears.

The “Define Increment Set” page appears. The system displays the selected increment set ID, as well as all the increment set details you had defined or edited most recently.

The system displays the following fields, which cannot be edited:

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user.

 Tell me more.

Increment Unit

The organization unit that you had selected in the previous page

Increment Set ID

The ID of the increment set that you had selected in the previous page.

To edit the details of the increment set

Increment Set Description

The name or description of the increment set

Currency

From the drop-down list box, select the currency in which the increment set will be maintained.

Rated Frequency

From the drop-down list box, choose the unit of time based on which the increment will be fixed. For example, if the increment is to be Rs 100 per day, you must choose “Day” as the rated frequency.

Increment Type

From the drop-down list box, choose “Scale based” or “Non-scale based”, to indicate whether the increment amount will be based on the employee’s scale.

Increment Pattern

From the drop-down list box, choose “Anniversary” or “Adhoc”, to indicate the frequency for assigning the increment set to the employees. 

“Anniversary” indicates that the increment set will be updated to the employee’s base salary after every one year from the employee’s date of joining.  “Adhoc” indicates that the increment set is updated to the employee’s base salary at other user-defined frequencies.

Increment Amount

Enter a flat amount, indicate the value of the increment set

Increment Percentage

Enter the percentage based on which the increment must be calculated. The system interprets it to be a percentage of the employee’s base salary.

Increment Rule

Enter the name of the stored procedure rule based on which increment set must be calculated. The actual rule can be defined using the “Define Rule” link.
