Edit Processed Increments – A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can retrieve a processed increment set, and edit the increment details for the individual employees under the increment set.
Retrieving the employees: You are to first retrieve the specific processed batch of records for a given increment set, by specifying the following combination of filters:
The increment set ID
The increment month, for anniversary based, or the date from which the increment will become effective, for adhoc increment sets.
For this batch of processed employee records, you can now retrieve the required employees by specifying filters such as employee code characters and grade set.
The system will fetch the records of those employees matching these filters.
The increment details for individual employees: You can edit the following, for each of the employees whose records have been fetched:
The date on which the increment value must become effective and create a history record for the employee’s base salary. The base salary is maintained in the Employee Compensation Information component.
