Aborting and resetting the increment set processing/authorization
Select the “Set Increment Process Status” link under the “Increments” component.
The “Set Increment Process Status” page appears.
Enter the following
Increment Unit |
From the “Increment Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit for which you require the increment set processing to be aborted / reset. |
Increment Set ID |
Enter the code of the increment set whose processing must be aborted / reset.. Help available |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The system displays the increment description, type and pattern for the increment set ID.
To abort or reset increment set processing
From the “Processing Stage” drop-down list box, select “Processing”.
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The system displays the following details of the processed increment set:
Increment Set Description |
The name or description of the increment set |
Increment Type |
Either “Scale based” or “Non-scale based” is displayed, to indicate whether the increment amount will be based on the employee’s scale. |
Increment Pattern |
Either “Anniversary” or “Adhoc” is displayed, to indicate the frequency for assigning the increment set to the employees. “Anniversary” indicates that the increment set will be updated to the employee’s base salary after every one year from the employee’s date of joining. “Adhoc” indicates that the increment set is updated to the employee’s base salary at other user-defined frequencies. |
Specify the following
Increment Month |
From the drop-down list box, choose the month for which you require the processed records of eligible employees to be retrieved. See Example. Enter the year, in the adjacent field. This is applicable for anniversary-based increments only. |
Increment Effective From Date |
Enter the date for which you require the processed records of eligible employees to be retrieved. This is applicable for adhoc increments only. |
The system displays the following.
Session ID |
The Session ID that was generated for the combination of the Increment Set ID and the most recently processed Increment Month. |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The current status of the session ID is displayed.
Select the “Abort” pushbutton to abort the increment processing, or the “Reset” pushbutton to reset an aborted processing.
The “Process Status” field is updated to “Abort” or “Reset”.
To abort or reset increment set authorization
From the “Processing Stage” drop-down list box, select “Authorization”.
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The system displays the increment set description, increment type and increment pattern for the authorized increment ID you had selected.
Specify the “Increment Month” or “Increment Effective From Date” fields. Refer to the topic above “To abort or reset increment set processing”.
The system displays the Session ID that was generated for the combination of the Increment Set ID and the most recently authorized Increment Month.
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The Process Status is displayed.
Select the “Abort” pushbutton to abort the increment authorization, or the “Reset” pushbutton to reset an aborted authorization.
The “Process Status” field is updated to “Abort” or “Reset”.
