View Compensation Frequency – A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can view the most recently updated details of a selected compensation frequency.
Compensation Frequency: You can view a conversion matrix, where each unit of time, example Day, is converted to all other units of time such as Week, Bi-week, Month and Year. This requirement arises mainly because compensation frequency and rated frequency are often specified in differing units of time. By providing a conversion matrix, the system can equate any unit of time to another unit of time.
For example, an employee’s salary is fixed at $100 per Day, and he is paid once every month. When you specify that a month is equal to 30 days or 31 days, the system can calculate the employee’s salary for the number of days that he has attended.
The various units of time, such as Hour, Day, Week, Bi-Week, Month and Year are arranged in a two-dimensional array. Take Month, for instance, you view its conversion to Hours as 160 hours, to Day as 22 days and to Week as 4 weeks
Active or Inactive: You can view the status of individual conversions, which is either active or inactive. Only those individual conversions in the conversion matrix that are applicable for the organization unit are active.
Availability to Organization Units: The current availability status of the compensation frequency record can be viewed, as well. This status indicates whether this compensation frequency must be available to
