Set Attendance Process Status - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can either abort or reset an attendance process. An attendance process refers to the automatic processing of attendance details for all the employees of a specific attendance, example Regular attendance, to compute payroll for a specific process period. The mode of entry of attendance must be either Formula based or ARS.
The processing of the attendance details must have been initiated in the “Process Attendance” activity, for a single or multiple attendance codes under a payroll/payset. A unique session ID is generated during the “Process Attendance” activity, which indicates the readiness of the attendance details under the specified payroll/payset for payroll processing.
Aborting the attendance process: By aborting an attendance process, you stop processing of attendance details after it has been initiated. Normally, you abort the attendance process when you don’t anticipate the output to be as desired. For example, after initiating an attendance process, you find that certain attendance entries have not been recorded, or certain leave entries have not been entered. In such instances, you abort the attendance process, incorporate the necessary changes and reset the attendance process.
Resetting the attendance process: Resetting an attendance process means that you have readied the attendance details for processing.
Aborting the attendance process status involves specifying the
