Setting the attendance process status
Select “Set Attendance Process status” page from left pane.
The “Set Attendance Process status” page appears.
The page displays the following field.
Date Format |

From the “Payroll Attendance Unit” drop-down list box, select the payroll attendance unit for which the attendance status process is to be set. Tell me more
All the employment units under the selected “Payroll Attendance Unit” are now available in the “Employment Unit” drop-down list box.
Select an employment unit from the “Employment Unit” drop-down list box.
All the payrolls and paysets that are mapped to the selected employment unit will be now available in the “Payroll” and “Payset” drop-down list boxes.
Select the desired payroll from the “Payroll drop down list box.
Select the desired payset from the “Payset“ drop-down list box.
Enter the process period in the “Process Period“ field. Help facility available
Enter the process period of which the attendance process has to be aborted.
Enter the session ID that identifies the attendance process, in the “Session ID“ field. Help facility available
Select the “Show Status“ pushbutton, to view the status of the attendance process.
The multiline will display the various attendance types and the process status of each attendance type, for the selected process period. The following are columns in the multiline.
Attendance Code |
The code that identifies the attendance type. |
Attendance Description |
The description of the attendance code. |
Period Unit Description |
The period unit defined for the attendance type, in the “Create Attendance Type” activity. |
Entry Mode |
The mode of entering the attendance. This field displays either one of the following values: “Formula-based“ or “ARS“. |
Process Status |
The system displays one of the following values: “Not Yet Initiated“, “Initiated“, “Processed“, “Aborted“ “Reset“ “Authorized“ or “Unauthorized“. |
Ensure that the “Process Status” field of the attendance process record in the multiline row displays “Initiated”. Otherwise, the record cannot be aborted.
You can abort multiple attendance processes, by checking the records in the corresponding columns of the multiline
Select the “Abort” pushbutton to abort the process.
All the attendance processes that you have selected are aborted.
The status field of each aborted attendance process will display the process status “Aborted” after successful execution.
Ensure that the “Process Status” field of the attendance process record in the multiline row displays “Aborted”. Otherwise, the record cannot be reset.
You can reset multiple aborted attendance processes, by checking the records in the corresponding “Select” column.
Select the “Reset” pushbutton to change the status from Abort to Reset.
Note: After you abort attendance processing, you cannot process it again without resetting it.
The status field of each reset attendance process will display the process status “Reset” after successful execution.

Setting the attendance process status – An overview
In this page, you can set the status of the attendance process either to “Abort” or “Reset”. You can abort an attendance process, only after it has been initiated. To process the attendance type again, you must change its status from “Abort” to ‘Reset’. Reset indicates that the attendance process is ready for processing.
