The “Define Appraiser” page appears.
The system displays the following
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the login employee belongs. This employment unit refers to the organization unit that holds the Employment Information component. |
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Enter the following
Employee |
The employee code and name of the login employee. |
Assignment No. |
From the drop-down list box, select the number of the assignment for which the self-appraisal will be applicable. |
Joining Date |
The date of joining of the employee. |
Confirmation Date |
The date on which the employee was confirmed. |
Appraisal Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of appraisal for which the employee’s appraisers must be defined. It can be one of the following:

Appraisal Calendar Code |
Enter the code of the appraisal calendar in which the mapping of appraisers will be applicable. An appraisal calendar is a specific period of appraisal. For example, the appraisal calendar C1 is for the period 1 January 2003 to 31 December 2003. Help available. |
The system displays the following
Calendar Short Description |
If you select the appraisal calendar through Help, the short description of the calendar is displayed. |
Period From |
The start date of the calendar |
Period To |
The end date of the calendar |
Employee Type |
The type of the employment. |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton
The “Appraiser Mapping” multiline will display the details of the appraisers already mapped to the employee
To define appraisers
Enter or edit the following in the “Appraisal Mapping” multiline
Appraiser Code |
The employee code of each appraiser to be mapped to the employee. Help available |
Period From |
The date from which the appraiser will be mapped to the employee. |
Period To |
The date until which the appraiser will be mapped to the employee. |
Remarks |
Any remark pertaining to the appraiser |

Weightage (in %) |
The weightage assigned to the objective group, objective type, objective group-type and objective, in percentage. To save employee appraiser mapping
Select the “Submit” pushbutton.
The system saves the mapping of appraisers to the employee.
To edit changed appraiser details
Whenever an employer’s appraiser has been changed in the “Record Appraiser Mapping” activity, you can visit this page and view the updated information as follows. You can also edit the "Period From" and "Period To" fields.

To define objectives for an appraiser
In the multiline, check the “Select” box containing the appraiser for whom objectives are to be defined.
Select the “Set/Edit Objectives” link.
The “Set Appraisal Objectives” page appears. Refer to Recording appraisal objectives
